It takes 2 legendary yellow strains, 1 legendary red, 15% weapon, 3 Star costume 5 set bonus, fully upgraded Plane Gate set module (6%), and one 1.50% tuning option on a module to hit 40%. (Or rather, 40.3%.)

Misteltein has a bit more leeway since he gets a passive 5%, and an additional 5.50% from Release!

I'd rather use costume tuning slots (If I get the choice/money to afford all those tuning items, that is.) for the huge damage bonuses you can get than try to make up for the lack of a 15% weapon. (Especially when the 54 lanterns also have 12.5/8.5% CHC and 45% CHD. CHD especially important since it's the one damage boosting stat immune to diminishing returns.) The S Rank Critical Hit Damage bonus on a 3 Star weapon is 25%. (Which I know because my Misteltein's Mephisto lance has a 25% Physical CHD bonus.....) Accessories can get up to 12.50% Aerial/Back Attack damage and Critical Hit Chance.

You forgot receivers, some receivers can give 4%~6% CDr and raw magical attack, the physical one only gives 2% still.

There's also EDM accessories that would give 1.5% per slot and 1.5% on set effect at 2* (and more at 3*?)

And of course tuning, my weapon gives 5% and modules 1~2% each, doesn't seem that hard to reach imo..

Overall, i can reach 40% CDr using 2% CDr receiver, legendary dual blades with 5% CDr tuning, 1~2% CDr tunings on modules & 6% CDr set module, one legendary red and one legendary yellow CDr PNAs :o

And you can always put 2x blue/elite CDr PNAs since they are kind of cheap lately :/

You can also get critical damage from gloves, and gloves have the exact same tunings as weapon, which means you can get +25% on gloves and +25% on weapon 3*, 50% if you are lucky enough or have enough cash to spare, totally not pay to win Big Grin

Refer to inven to see what's the possible tunings for each gear/costume if you still don't know them all.
