Account creation/management tips?

Hello! To shorten the situation, I just had my second Nexon KR account banned/deleted, lmao. (No banned e-mail/message, just says that the account doesn't exist. This happened with my old Elsword KR account too.) Luckily they replaced the account because I've only had it to play CLOSERS for 5 days. I know how to change my password, but is there any reason this may have happened to me? I don't swap IPs, use any hacking/modding tools or anything, zzz. I'm thinking maybe Nexon just hates me, lol.

I had just gotten to level 40 on Levia so I'd really, really love if anyone had any tips or ideas about what happened to the account so it doesn't happen again... I haven't been able to find any threads on this issue.

I do swap IPs, I do disconnect myself while logging in from 2 different PCs at the same time, and I never had or heard of such an issue, if it doesn't say you were banned, that means you weren't banned.

In my opinion, you just got hacked and someone stole your account & changed the password, which is why it tells you the account/password is wrong? (or account doesn't exist as general error?)

Just to let you know, this is not a common issue..

Alright, thank you. It actually tells me that my ID doesn't exist if I try to retrieve my password though so it's like it just gets wiped off the earth completely. I've heard of it happening to other people but never met those people myself. (As in, a friend just told me it happened to her friend). 

I suppose though that nothing can be done for now; I don't do anything that increases the risk of being hacked, either. 

I'm fine as long as it doesn't happen again. I'll try periodically changing my password just in case.

Mind you tell me where do you get your accounts from? You can still use the website you purchased the account from to retrieve the account's infos naturally, in which case they should assume the responsibility if the account has been DELETED.

First one was bought from NGW. They refused to do anything about it when e-mailed, but that doesn't surprise me as almost everyone I know who has bought through NGW eventually has their account deleted/recalled... Apparently, anyways. Like I said, I heard from a friend that it happened to like 6 people she knew. These were Elsword accounts, if it matters.

Second deleted account, I got 5 days ago from OBTgame. They gave me a new account for free when I told them what had happened.

As unfortunate as it sounds, this is quite rare actually...Either you are doing something similar to your other friends to get your accounts deleted, or you are just being too unlucky?

I know people who've had their accounts for over 5years now, and they never had issues with them? (Yes, they were from newgameway o.o)

Sadly, I can't really help with something like that, but I will take note of it in case it happens to anyone in the future, because "account deleted" leaves no proof or reason, so there's nothing that can be done over it unless you can contact Nexon in which case....they'll probably ditch you because you are a foreigner and using an account that isn't supposed to be legal to begin with..

i suggest u wipe your computer and reinstall window, cuz this sound like your account got hacked, since i resell NGW accounts to some people for 3 years now, and all of them still working fine

Thanks you two, I'll see what I can do.

What confuses me is that from what I can tell, the e-mail attached to the account was changed, and if I remember correctly, you need the personal information of the account to do so. (ie. what only NGW has)

I haven't downloaded anything suspicious; in fact my computer is new... I'll try uninstalling all that I don't need and doing in-depth scans, though. I have a huge amount of games and stuff installed so a full wipe will only be my last resort. 

I'll let you guys know if it happens again/I figure anything out.

I believe the only way NGM account emails can be changed is by providing the account's korean identity (linked to the account) infos..

Yeah, I figure. The weird part is that like I said, trying to search for password says the ID doesn't exist. But I also found that if I tried to sign up again with the same e-mail, it says it's already being used. 

Either way Windows Defender found a severe Trojan virus in Google Chrome... That might be it, I guess? I really have no idea how that got on my PC, since I mainly just install games... Hopefully that was the problem. :/ Boy do I feel dumb for not noticing that before, though..
