Are these new changes too late?

I love all these new changes and fixes that we got. 

But do you feel like Naddic is a bit late in implementing them and most of the changes should of happened at launch.?

They called it delay fire strategy, so they can slowly release their content and make money in a long run. Then they can have more time to make more content.

Way too late

The game got enormous hype with its initial wave of players, but Naddic never really capitalized on that. Players quickly got bored either from the grind or from having nothing to do endgame. The only new content that came throughout all these months out were the OA's that were frustrating and overly difficult to get. Area 5 had a lot of anticipation since capped players would finally have something to do and people hoped that this would reduce exp tables, but that turned out to be a disappointment too. Completely recycled content that's even MORE difficult and frustrating.

That, and the fundamental flaws that continued to hurt the game like the UN medal system, gigantic cash prices, horrid grind, no PvP, kept bringing Closers down. While Naddic eventually did address these issues, it was way too late and the hype was already dead. I mean, at this point, why play Closers when its competitors have none of these flaws and more.

I feel like they rlllly pushed their luck with the way they ran the game into 0 levels of hype left because alot had high hopes Which didn't gradually die it died like THAT-snaps- so it is extremely difficult to give people hope for the game at this point (but it could be like with elsword where a new character ends up making channels flood everytiem) but honestly it will be rlly hard to get ppl playing again with all the pain and turmoil they caused to players New and Endgame/veteran(aka players from alpha to release) but I rlly hope they step up their game because right now it doesnt look to good for naddic... Sidenote: I rlly love closers and its actually a game that I spend time with but it has had so many flaws I have been tired out often and the excessive grind+ low exp does not get compensated with something else(like fun pvp, or a lot of endgame/mid-game content).

There's really little hope in Closers being as big as it could have been.

Both because the hype is gone and because Naddic keeps taking one step forward and one step back.

Best idea is to take the game offline for 3-6 months before they're in too deep. Relaunch in half a year with everything wiped. (Refund NX i
of course)

The Naddic team has bounced back from worse. Their previous game was doing much worse than Closers was at this point in its lifespan. It was on the verge of cancelation before one character saved the game. And even now that game is so ****ed up that it's dependant on having the most generous events in MMO history during the Summer and Winter to keep people from quitting..... hell, they even just postponed a major update that was supposed to come out at the same time as Plane Gate for two entire months at the last minute.

With Closers, I get the sense that people are waiting for more content. I'm already seeing activity pick up in Plane Gate. (Which is great in terms of rewards by the way. Same EXP range as Eplogue Very Hard stages but much shorter, plentiful drops to NPC for a good amount of credits, and guaranteed legendary drops. They're mostly the base forms with no stats, but you can salvage them to upgrade the ones of the set you want. There's also at least 10 SP to be gained from books as quest rewards.)

But I recall once that 2nafish talked about a mentality that Koreans have that they feel that they are "beta testers" for games for the international releases which get the various bugs fixed before getting the same updates. (Although we tend to get our own bugs that the Korean versions never got.....) And it's almost certain that if Closers goes international, it will start out with plenty of these newer updates right off the bat. It's possible that the Koreans are used to this by now.

Overall, I wouldn't start worrying until the Summer updates fail to get people back to the game. They announced a LOT of new content that I'm sure is going to generate interest.

Well that is their fate, it comes with pros and cons. Pros being able to play the game much earlier and have no need to anticipate whether or not a game is going to be released at their region *cough*blade and soul*cough*

Sarcastic comments aside, I've seen a few games do that and come back with relative success.

Sometimes you can't kill a bad reputation without a total restart.
