Closers weekly rankings topic.

For me, it's the framerate issues that are keeping my hype in check. Just seeing the OA level makes me shudder at doing that in constant sub-10 FPS.

I'm fairly certain the 37-38 grind and OA quest grind is in place to buy the development team time until they have more content ready. I've only been playing for a little over a week, and I'm only ten levels away from the cap. I imagine they'll severely  reduce the OA grind once there's more content to go through after that. Right now most players are either going through it after they've reached the level cap or are close to it, which means that the OA grind isn't too rewarding aside from making money and drop farming a little more interesting. We might see them reduce the OA grind as soon as when the fifth area is implemented.

The fact that hype is already falling is NOT a good thing at all, if it's ranking is already moving down I doubt there's much a new character can do for it in the long run.

Maybe they should consider not having FIVE DIFFERENT VIP options, and making OA quests a tad easier.

I ain't complainin, but I really hope Closers doesn't pull a MapleStory and nerf the game to the point where you can win by button mash.
I was annoyed having to grind for Lv 41 with Seulbi just to prepare for her OA and I'm dreading doing all that again for Yuri. It better be that because before that, the pacing of the game was great.

I don't really see the site being so accurate. I mean the game is still pretty active even past curfew.

Game that's primarily PvE and there isn't much after hitting Lv 47 and beating G Tower. I can figure people would at least run out of things to do.

Blame the controversial release of the game.

The game released with an insane cash shop, purchaseable skill points and performance issues so bad unless you have a GOOD gaming rig you're stuck playing a game that looks like a pile of crap at a glorious 800x600 resolution.

That is no way to kick your game off, scares a lot of people away.

Stop making the game have pre BB Maple-tier grinding, less required runs on Cube for OA (40 seriously...?) and find a way to add a real PvP mode.
That and right now Closers feels like a single player game.

If you mean the fact that the game has to constantly render the environment every time you enter a zone, then yes, it is problematic. I mean, damn, the game slows to a crawl every time it tries to load up Singang High and whenever those wolf bosses warp in.

Closers being PvE is the likely intention they were going with. I hear the Koreans enjoy PvE way more than PvP(hell, I like the fact that it's primarily PvE). Besides, with the way the characters work now, trying to make a traditional PvP for this game that is balanced and fun is impossible unless they take apart the whole game and start from scratch.

I will agree with you on the pacing and the OA quests though. The whole game slows down to a crawl once you get to Singang(I'm sensing a pattern) because of the sudden EXP gap and the constant story quests that suddenly force you to do private rooms just because this particular run has you running into an event. Then there's 40 runs where each attempt could mean failure because enemy Closers cheat and because your party members could be idiots and not know about the corners being aggro-free. I haven't even gotten to doing an OA quest yet and already I feel afraid.

My hype is going down because there are NEVER people on the queues and playing alone is becoming a bore. :c
