General Fastest Patching by Venipa
#1
Hi ClosersHQ members my name is Venipa (for some who dont know me cSmile

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We need an link for the download, here it is:
http://closers.dn.nexoncdn.co.kr/CLOSERS_LIVE_NEXON/

But we want to download the newest DAT0-154.CMF or only a single one.

so what we gonna do is we gonna download IDM(Internet Download Manager)
then we add a new Batch download
[Image: QTz7NQP.jpg]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then we will type in the address http://closers.dn.nexoncdn.co.kr/CLOSERS...N/DAT*.CMF (* is the wildcard for the numbers)
then we choose the asteriks From 0 to 154 (because there are 154 DAT*.CMF)
Should look like this:
Next: press OK
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then this will popup
[Image: OyUlphQ.jpg]
There you choose the Download Directory ( where all the files should be safed in! )

Next: Press OK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then it will ask you in which query do u want it in.
Check the "Main download queue" and press ok
Now go to the main queue and press right click -> start now

it should download now really REALLY fast. (at the max of your bandwidth)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Download only a Single DAT File then just replace the numbers from the link:
http://closers.dn.nexoncdn.co.kr/CLOSERS...T/DAT1.CMF
http://closers.dn.nexoncdn.co.kr/CLOSERS.../DAT10.CMF
http://closers.dn.nexoncdn.co.kr/CLOSERS...DAT100.CMF

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Proof : c:

IDM(internetdownloadmanager): it downloads in 8parts for a file so it connect 7 more times and it will split into 8 and when the download is finished it will pack all 8 parts together.

Its good but,it will be great to be able to know what DAT files to update, updating all the DAT files everytime is like downloading the whole client everytime, which would be slow (unless the patchs are 3Gb large) also don't forget that some things are located outside the DAT files, but they are few anyway.
Overall, its a nice guide for people who have issues downloading patchs, well at least it can be a second methode for them~Good job!

As far as i searched for it,its on a LUA script...:x
It should be CLIENT_CODE.LUA since its the first thing that get patched, nearly every time.
Have fun decrypting it :x

I've done this before.

CLIENT_CODE.lua actually isn't encrypted, only compiled. You can use unluac to reverse it.

There isn't. D:

The launcher downloads CLIENT_CODE.LUA, reads it and compares all files one-by-one using that info.
