[HELP] critical_process_died error

hi guys, I'm both new in this forum and to the game itself, I downloaded the closers jp with the aug 18 manual patch and after I started
the game it looks fine after the gameguard showed up but after that a blue screen with a sad face showed up saying that an error has occured it says CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED and it restarts.

I tried cleaning some of my files and disabling my antivirus and tried opening it again , yet the blue screen still shows up. Any ideas on how to fix this error? Right now I'm searching for a solution for this error but no luck right now.

I think it would be better to ask this on a tech forum rather than here.
If you get blue screen, there's an issue with your computer, not the game. Tongue


Edit: Ignore that ^, I didn't realize it was Gameguard-only issue.
It appears to be gameguard thinking one of the critical Windows processes as a hacking tool and terminating it, causing system crash (Blue Screen).

Hello!! I have the same problem as you. It seems the error is caused by GameGuard. By any chance, do you have Windows 10?
Also, check if you need any pc update.

Hello guys, 

I also have Windows 10 and it works just fine, so this isn't the issue here. I also play another game with GameGuard and they recently had a patch that causes the BSOD issue... Under certain conditions. So the problem isn't totally with the computer, but with GameGuard. I'm guessing you guys have Avast? If so, try this : 
  • Uninstall Avast (disabling doesn't fix the issue)
  • Launch and enjoy the game
This should fix your BSOD issues. You can later reinstall Avast if you really want it. 
If Avast isn't the issue, try checking your drivers and if everything is up to date, I'll look further into it to see what I can do to help you.

I highly doubt it's Avast's fault, I have Windows 10 and Avast, and I can run JP fine. :/
I wouldn't rule it out, it's still worth attempting, I'm just saying.

It's not Windows 10-only problem, it seems. It seems to be affecting x64-bit systems (according to this: http://forums.sega.com/showthread.php?42...-GameGuard)

Yes, I know people who also had Avast and not getting the BSOD. 
But uninstalling Avast helped a lot of people as far as I know. 

Btw, the game I'm talking about is also Elsword, I think every server got this issue and KoG answer about this was "uninstall Avast" (odd imo), but it worked wonders for people. They should at least try it.

Ya, i have been getting BSOD today, and all i did with my pc today was install bluestacks and install 4 "windows updates".

Now everytime i click the start button to play (launcher), the game crashes and i get BSOD (3 times). Played the previous night with no problem, and i have avast.

Thanks, I thought I was the only one getting this error, I'm gonna try on solving this right now, hope it works.

Update: Suprisingly when I uninstalled avast, Closers worked oh my god I can finally play this.
