Um, so how is this supposed to be a good thing? Shouldn't Naddic be releasing content with minimal bugs and flaws in the first place? Not spend weeks fixing all of their mistakes while their playerbase has nothing to do?

Except Maplestory's a crappy example to compare Closers to. Nexon's been using its resources to make Maplestory 2, a completely new game. And during all this time, they were still able to announce a new class for the game.

Nata + Revia + Area is a sizeable chunk of content for summer. The problem is if Naddic is going to release half-assed content and filler for the rest of the year afterwards like they did last time.

This just makes me wonder if they have the resources to properly test their updates before releasing it.

Nevermind that Nexon's a really big company that has so much money that they can allocate their resources into multiple different projects at once while Naddic is just a small game developer studio who's only made one game so far. Granted, I can see what you mean, but then I wouldn't be surprised if Naddic's already stretched too thin at this point trying to come up with new content and fixing the ones they already released.

Of course, I have no idea about the size of the company in question, as well as how much they have so who am I to question?

Except NEXON isn't allocating resources to MS2...they started a subdivision with NC SOFT called NSQUARE to develop MS2. It's a completely new team, taking no resources from MS.

Nexon develops both MS and MS2. Them dividing their department to collaborate in creating a new game is allocating resources, lol. Nsquare is a team from both NCsoft and Nexon.

Yeah but they're seperate teams, they didn't take people from the MS team. MS2's development is as relevant to Maplestory's as any other of Nexon's games.

Yeah, they're not taking resources away from MS1 when it's still Nexon's third most popular game in South Korea. (Fifa Online and Dungeon Fighter Online being #1 and #2.)
