New Levia question

Sorry for making a new thread and if this sounds like a silly / noob question but now that OA/OC Levia is out besides her finishing move, which of the new skills are a must. Can anybody help me with the SP distribution? Which skills to get now. If anybody can post a screen cap with a good skill /passive distribution. Or a good explanation is also welcomed. Thanks in advanced and sorry for the trouble

I'm personally only taking the FM and Aerial + Back Attack passives until someone can translate what exactly the aura skill does.

Combo skill: A bit too lengthy. Clashes with the feel of Levia being able to attack midair indefinitely.

Laser: The damage is great, but it's a bit too costly. For it costs a second resource in addition to MP: Your Phase Power bar.

Yes, it costs Phase Power. Yes, the PP cost IS affected by Resource Reduction.

I do not like this because not only can it impact your ability to keep PP up forever, resulting in less damage from other skills and undoing what good that one moment of burst did, but Phase Power activation is also linked to Levia's MP gain.

The FM is glorious, however. The Master version even comes with 20% Magic Defense ignore and 10% Magic Critical Hit Damage. Simply glorious.

Just wait for next week,i have been told most levia's OC skills are either not working properly or lack utility,its normal that her skills get a modified next week (first week after release).

Well, the combo skill does have the incredible bonus of giving you iframes for days. Safest thing ever.
Sure, you have to come down for it, but you can just cancel into Designated Flight with a Hybrid Crit/Cancel cube and be airborne again. Nothing detrimental.

For the aura, while the values are a bit odd and the translation on the wiki is quite strangely worded, I can at least say it increases your Magical damage with a buff as well as debuffs enemies so they take more magical damage (physical too, but that doesnt matter for levia).

Laser only consumes PP, no MP at all. If you play Levia right, it's basically a free skill. (the PP cost is easily offset, I use the laser and am still in Phase Power 24/7 ;x; )

I dont see how they're not working properly though? I mean, it's entirely possible the debuff of the Aura isn't working or something, but otherwise the skills function just fine. And utility is up to the player. I find all of them very useful.

Just Serpent Swarm or Designated Flight/Dimensional Singularity(for MP)/FM1/FM2, the other skills aren't worth maxing.

OC Skill 1 is easiest to skip since there are several skills with same and/or better function as it.

Also, text on wiki for Mamushi Swarm isn't off--it's canon...basically what I'm saying is it's naddic's fault for listing a debuff as a buff.

Basically, damage increased effect is a debuff that increases P or M or P/M damage taken by inflicted foes.
As for the buff--that one is actually pretty confusing.
Me and Kanra also don't really understand the Master effect...

My entire circle is complaining at FM3's irregularly low damage--though I think the only reason why the damage is so bad is because it only does 10k%+ at max hits.
Which makes it a...really trash skill, don't you think? Since max hits is practically impossible on anything except for maybe Hecatonchieres/Viking thing with such an irregular hitbox '-'...

The iframes man. It's legit the safest skill ever. And the damage isn't bad either.

As far as I know, Mamushi Swarm works like this:

"Mobs within Aura take 5% more damage from Magical attacks"

Simple enough. Do all the calculations for damage, then do the final number times 1.05 for the new damage you do. Would need a training room to truly test, but this means the boost is incredibly potent as it boosts the damage -after- all of your own stat bonuses (air/phase etc) AND the enemy's defense has been accounted for already.

Rough calc:
10000 Attack, 20% Air Damage, 200% Crit damage, enemy has 20 Defense
Use skill that deals 150% Magic Damage while airborne
Total Damage : 35980
If Enemy is in Aura : 37779

Then Advanced :
"Mobs within Aura take 5% more damage from Physical Attacks, grants buff that makes all your Magical Attacks deal 8% more damage"

Same as above, except for the buff effect the mob doesn't neceserally need to be inside of the Aura for it to take more damage. They essentially do the same though though, in this order:

Total Damage (from above) : 35980
After Buff : 38858
If Enemy is in Aura : 40801

Master is where it gets weird, but I believe it goes like this:
"Grants buff that makes all Physical Attacks deal 5% more damage. All enemies within Aura take 5% more damage from all attacks"

Stacked together with the normal and advanced effects we get:
Damage Enemies take from Physical Attacks +10%
Damage Enemies take from Magical Attacks +10%
Damage you or allies deal with Physical Attacks +5%
Damage you or allies deal with Magical Attacks +8%

So with the previous example:
Total Damage : 35980
After Buff : 38858
If Enemy is in Aura : 42744

So I decided to take some points out of Horn Gouge and experiment with Mamushi Swarm.

The debuff + buff boosts my Judgement Star's final explosion to 3.2 million, 3.49 million with Horn Gouge's debuff up. (On Flaming Mandran/B-1's boss.)

I'm still destroying trash mobs with level 12 Horn Gouge + Mamushi Swarm.

I love this skill. I'm keeping it. Now I just need to wait for the level cap increase for Master Rank so I can Cooldown Reduction cube it and keep it up forever.

I run with all of them but the first two OC skills. Magic Critical Damage, Back Attack, and Aerial Attack for passives.

Leave Summon Familiar at level 1 but max out everything else.

Alternatively you could leave Horn Gouge at level 11 but boost Summon Familiar to 10 to get 9% more Magic Defense Penetration to buff everything else, but I use Horn Gouge constantly to keep up the debuff and quickly get behind bosses. So I see it as a bigger damage increase to just max that out.

Tormenting Light's main problem after screwing around with it some more is not its Phase Power cost, (Which goes down as you level it up anyway.) but rather its lengthy cooldown. After we can get it to level 10 and can slap on a CDR cube onto it might I swap it out with Serpent Swarm. (Although Serpent Swarm's 80% Damage Reduction while casting gives it great utility. But right know I'm killing everything too fast for that to really come in handy.)

This is my levia experience, if you can get fined tunes for resources cost and skill cooldown. I use all skills 100% mid air i dont do anything on the ground other than normal atks anymore. Basically you want to stay in awaken most of the time, then use the small balls to group mobs, then i would use lasers or some mid tier skills to deal damage, before grouping use the aura skills on monsters to argo them then use the small ball. Thats for grouping and atk. For bossing use the purple big ball 1st in mid air (stay away from the boss a bit) after u launched the purple big balls immediately use the yellow ball(OC ulti skill) while u still in the air(meaning after the purple ball jist slam ur yellow ball key as fast as ucan) to deal extra damage.

As for passive you must have, i put points in ariel atks and 1 point in magic crit.
