I translated:
big brother(oppa) is honorific for females addressing older but still relatively young males. (if it's easier to understand, in JP it's onii-san)
mister(ajeossi) is a word used to address middle aged males.

Yes. It's a measure of acquaintanceship to friendship. As people get to know each other and becomes close enough, they start dropping the last names when they call each other.

It's just that it feels weird. What if someone has a big name? It would be tiring to say it every time. lol
Well, even so, I kinda like these "respect things" that orientals have. @_@

That problem wont occur(or very rarely occur) within Korea. :3
Most(~99%) Korean names are comprised of 3 short syllables.
