Outrageous update on Yuri's item
#1
Yes! our new update is finally here.

AND! our Yuri users are quiet outrageous about new items in new area.

Ok here is screenshot of new item of Yuri and Seha ( Put them in left to right order to compare easily)

If you have look at red underlined option

Naddic gave Se ha and it's not here but Seulbi's

Physical critical damage 15%
and
Magical critical damage 15%

For Yuri, because it is 'hybrid' character they gave her

Physical critical damage 7.5%
and
Magical critical damage 7.5%

NOW! it seems like there are no problems right?

because for a moment lots of people may think

"7.5+7.5=15! So it is EQUAL!"

Well, unfortunately.. NO!

I will give you very simple example.

Let's say Se ha and Seulbi has physical/magical critical damage of 100 and Yuri has 100phy and mag critical damage.

Because Se ha receives physical damage 15% phy crit damage, he gives crit damage of 115%

and same goes for Seulbi, she gives magical crit damage of 115%

BUT! Yuri's skill is hybrid and her skills are based as Physical damage of 50% and magical damage of 50%

So if we caculate 107.5% for each one of them

it gives physical damage of 53.75% and magical damage of 53.75%.

Which means, when Seha and Seulbi deals with 115 damage,

Yuri only deals with 107.5

To put it simple, Yuri loses 7.5, which is half of the critical damage.

If you read above, you might understand.

and the equation above is just theory.

Yuri can't deal same damage like Seha and Seulbi.

This is because we can only equip '3 Modules'.

Meaning, either one of the module has to be really good item or else it won't catch up with

either phy/mag damage. To put it much more easier, when Yuri is equipped with same item

as Seha and Seulbi, she always gives less damage.

Oh.. and yes, Korean forum is CHAOS because of this atm.

I am still hybrid Yuri user but I am losing my patient.

Why are they doing this to Yuri?

People need to keep in mind Yuri's mixed damage skills inherently already have much higher modifiers than Seha or Seulbi's skills. Yuri Star is still the most powerful Finishing Move, and Automatic Fire still actually hurts a LOT compared to the likes of Discharge and Discipline Blade.

Stats aren't everything, so while it seems unfair from a stat-point of view, it's fair when taking into account her skills as well.

What you have said is partly correct.

What I agree with is that Yuri's move like 'Automatic fire' and 'Yuri Star' is powerful compare to skills that are

learnt at that lv.

But what else?? and I am not completely agreeing with you since Seha and Seulbi's finishing moves at that same lv are

powerful as Yuri Star. Yes, I do have OA Se ha, OA Seulbi, and OA Yuri.

Oh and Yuri Star is strong when you are equipped with hybrid setting. (Most of the attack counts as magic)

AND! Automatic fire is stronger when it is used by physical/magical damage base Yuri.

I'll give you translation what they have wrote in korean forum.

=================Translation===========================
I am writing this post after reading the 3 post down below.
I guess you are NOT playing the game and only caculating in your head,

BUT Physical damage based Yuri, (Except magical damage based skills) always give more damage than Hybrid Yuri.
On what basis do I make such a statement?
Of course I have calculated it.
If you have seen my posts past few days, it all comes out with calculation.
Now, I'll show you the result.

As you know, if you look at details, it is a bit different, but difficulty of raising both physical and magical damage
in this game is fairly same.

So even if you raise your character as hybrid character, whole physical and magical damage is almost same.

Now, have a look at Yuri with 4000 damage. (Add of physical and magical damage)

1) Physical damage based Yuri : Physical damage 2500, Magical damage 1500
2) Hybrid Yuri : Physical damage 2000, Magical damage 2000
3) Magical damage  based Yuri : Physical damage 1500, Magical damage 2500

I know there are people out there with better items, but if you reach maximum lv without any help,
this should be around the value.

Now, let's see Yuri's skills are (Basically, additional damage is included as well)

1) Pure physical skill : Finishing move Yuri Special, Attention! - Physical damage 100%
2) 1:1 Hybrid skill : Automatic fire, Full Magazine Launch, Blitz, Zone Control, Finishing Move Yuri Quick Draw
3) Physical based hybrid skiil : Sonic slash, Cross slash, Rolling vulcan (These are around 6:4~7:3 ratio)
4) Magical based hybrid skill : Suppressing Fire (Based around 3:7~4:6 ratio)
5) Magical damage based skill : Finishing move Yuri star (Ratio above 1:9)

Have a look at all the skill damage and compare.
This calculation is based on character type. We do not need to look at actual damage,
we just need to see raito.

1. Physical damage skill

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 2500
 2) Hybrid Yuri : Hybrid Yuri : 2000
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 1500

Well, obviously.

2) 1:1 Hybrid skill

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 4000
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 4000
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 4000

3) Physical damage based hybrid skill (Ratio in 6:4)

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 2100
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2000
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 1900

4) Magical damage based hybrid skil (Ratio in 4:6)

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 1900
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2000
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 2100

5) Magical damage based skill (Ratio in 1:9)

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 1600
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2000
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 2400

This is the result. However, it does not end like this.
There are critical damage calculations as well.
I know it'd be better if we put each and every detailed value, but that is just too much.

So what we will try is,

Physical based Yuri = with 25% phy critical rate, 15% mag critical rate,
100% physical critical damage / 80% magical critical damage

Hybrid Yuri = with 22% phy critical rate, 22% mag critical rate
90% physical critical damage / 90% magical critical damage

Magical based Yuri = with 15% phy critical rate, 25% mag critical rate
80% physical critical damage / 100% magical critical damage

1. Pure physical damage skill

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 3125
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2396
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 1680

2) 1:1 Hybrid skill

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 2402.5
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2396
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 2402.5

3) Physical based hybrid skill (Ratio in 6:4)

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 2547
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2396
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 2258

4) Magical based hybrid skill (Ratio in 4:6)

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 2258
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2396
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 2547

5) Magical based skill (Ratio in 1:9)

 1) Physical damage based Yuri : 1824.5
 2) Hybrid Yuri : 2396
 3) Magical damage based Yuri : 2980.5

You all get what I'm trying to say?

I guess some of you still don't get it, so I will brief it in one line.
"If Physical/Magical damage based Yuri use automatic fire, it gives more damage than Hybrid Yuri"

Anyways, above proves hybrid yuri deals weaker blow than phy/mag damage base Yuri.

If you need more info, I can go detail on this.

Considering A LOT of people go for physical damage base Yuri, what you have told me only counts for

Automatic fire. Yes, it deals good amount of damage. But are we using only one skill??? I would say no.

We don't really need to talk about other skills because thread I wrote explains other hybrid skills.

Yes, characters have different concept, we love our characters. We understand because we love.

However, Naddic really has done wrong thing this time.

Think about it, if this keeps goes on as our lv expand, Yuri will remain weakest character.

That I do not like, and most of people don't like.

That is why I am pouting.

Oh OH! and one more thing. Se ha and Seul bi needs to pout too.

If you look at their lv 50 set items, for Seha they provide 'regulator' which is for magical damage

and for Seulbi, they provide 'booster' which is for physical damage.

Now that is very stupid move of Naddic.

They even just converted Seulbi's Z attacks to magic damage when they released her advancement.

What the hell Naddic?!

.....Of course, what I want to know is how people even got to the new area already. I'm only getting 2% per 4-9 VH run and I doubt EXP boosters can boost that enough to where 17 runs will be enough to hit 48.

Are these items character specific? As in, only Seulbi can wear the physical one, etc.?
Reply

Looks like it's an entire set. But to get all the set bonuses you have to equip both boosters and regulators, when as of the current state of balance, it is only worth equipping regulators for Seulbi and boosters for everyone else.

Well.. we have lots of bonus items and place that comes from.

1. Internet cafe exp bonus
2. Premium service (can be purchased from union cash store, they are giving it away for free for onetime only for compensation for emergency server check.)
3.Hot six potion (increase fatigue by 11pt. Randomly given by bunny girl)
4. Exp buff potion (given by quest for few times)

There you go.

How big is the PC Cafe bonus? Because the Premium service bonus (Thanks for reminding me about the compensation by the way.) is only adding 4955 to each 4-9 run. (Granted, it does add up and gives me 3 more runs for the day.....)

Looks like the players are talking about it right now... Well, for me, it's makes a LOT of sense to have a 7.5/7.5. Otherwise she would be broken.
