I'll just keep it short and sweet.

The Normal Attack Train passive increases mana regeneration per hit (HP if you're J) yet it doesn't really tell you how much it goes up per level when you're adding SP to it. Are there other hidden passives within the other passives? If so, what are they?

That's because MP gain (and HP gain for J) is based off damage.

Dealing more damage with magic attack using a skill also effects how much MP return you get after.

You may remember the first area, where MP was basically unlimited? This is why.

It is no hidden passive effect, more damage = more mp is simply one of the game mechanics. Normal Attack is the best way to gain mana (and most noticeable), so that's why you're seeing it be so effected by that passive.

Uh, I play J. If I level up Physic Atk, will my HP recovery during combos also increase?

Phys Atk is not really worth upgrading in my opinion, if I recall it's like 10 attack the first level and 5 each after or something?

Not large enough to even be noticeable since you'll be seeing much more results from cramming SP into skills.

Some may argue that the passive is okayish early on (where a little attack makes a difference), but with how unlimited MP is early on, you can just cram your extra SP into skills even if they're already past level 9 because MP isn't an issue. This is more effective then the tiny tiny gain from phys/mag attack passives.

Crits are great though, raising your Crit Phys on J would help you out, I don't know how crits work with MP/HP gain though to be honest.
