Pre-Maintenance Patch Notes 4/6/2015

What I was able to find out from just logging in:

-New login screen:

-There are two new stages added to both Plane Gate areas, but you have to unlock Level 3 to access them. And to access their higher levels, you have to clear the stage on each difficulty instead of just beating Poison Ivy/Viking Bot to access the next level.

-Daily quests now apply to all difficulties of the stage instead of just one specific difficulty.

-Crafting NPC UI was updated, seperate tabs for item categories are now mandatory, no more viewing everything at once.

-There are a bunch of new craftable equipments, only one new set, the rest are individual items without sets however. New red orb material required. No idea what optimal setup is now. (As in, whether or not I should stick to my 5 blue 4 yellow plan or aim for the new things.)

-Yes, everything still needs those damn purple vials.

-They gave an item for free SP resets in the mail for Seha.

-Accessing the second new stage of both areas use the same keys as you need to access Poison Ivy and Viking Bot. But the first new stage does not drop key parts. Therefore, you must choose between the two runs for Poison Ivy, Viking Bot, or the new guys each day unless you're sitting on a surplus of key parts.

-The boss of the second Red Area stage is undead Astaroth! Damn dimensionals and their necromancy!

No idea what's changed for Seha yet.

Tried all the stages, i must say the new boss for blue gate is a joke at stage 3 as compare to poison ivy.
As for burning / undead Astaroth is a nightmare. Too many BIG AOEs and super armor all the way. Even that mini boss is dangerous if not killed quickly due to the final atk is a whole map ground sweeping atk tat last about 8-10 secs.

Currently found that stage 6 and above give purple vials / crafting materials a lot more than stage 1.

Finally closers have added multi kill phrase in-battle. Highest score I got is "closing."

Some seha changes I've gathered so far

-Counterattack replaced by Concentrated Strike: Hold down key to charge up, taking 80% less damage during charge. Max charge hit has SAC Level 1. The damage is terrible though, so this new skill is pretty much worthless, ESPECIALLY compared to Counter.

-Pulse Cannon hit counts modified and animation changed. First blast hits twice, second blast once. Burn damage is purely magical now, and damage for both the blast and the burn was heavily increased.

-Shockwave is only one hit now, that knocks enemies into the air. Animation looks a lot fancier. Advanced hit pulls in enemies (like the first hit of pre-revamp shockwave). Damage of the new first hit is simply the original's first and second hit combined, so it deals the same damage still. Just a lot faster because only one hit.

-Phase Focus Blade casts faster and the stat bonuses have changed, cant tell what it does now though...

-FM: Meteor Blade is easier to land, even from point blank.
Teleia - Level 70 Caster
무한의Hope - Level 61 Witch

Nice, from what I notice in party, Seha overall damage seems to be increase due to the AOE atks hit harder at a short period of time.

Especially that shockwave, hits reduce but the pulling effect is definitely better than before.
Pulse cannon blast has bigger hit width and has pulling effect towards the gun point. NOTE: Pulling effective range is bigger than the atk zone. (bug?)

And my game died before I can test seha. Closers and their booting power.

There's also a new UI for upgrading costume pieces now. It's just like the enhancement/tuning UI where you right click the item to select it and show the requirements.

Edit: Okay, this is a huge one: They've shortened, de-randomized, and nerfed the Epilogue stages to be in line with the Plane Gate stages. This is a godsend for lower leveled characters. (Especially ones that have to solo their way up to Very Hard.) But I am not sure on the impact this has on purple vial farming yet since they seem to increased the drop rate of the purple orbs. But I know this hinders quest drop farming due to less drops per run. (You could see 3 Ash/Dusts before and anywhere from 3-5 Black Lambs clones. Now it's only 2 Ash/Dusts and 3 Black Lambs per run guaranteed.)

I did some screwing around with Seha. I'm not seeing much of a difference (for the skills I use) outside of the noted Shockwave changes, but I did make one important discovery:

You now have to fully charge PFB to get the full benefits of the buff. The charge time has been drastically reduced and each charge level being reached refreshes the duration. So no more simply pressing the button for the buffs. And no more wasted duration by fully charging.

However, the full buff has been nerfed. At level 13, it now gives 10.70% Crit Rate (down from 11%) and 3.97% Attack Speed. (Down from 4%.) Crit Damage is still 34% though.

I think his ZZZ loop has new animations and is slightly faster as well, but it has been a while since I played Seha.

My thoughts about Seha:

- The final attack animation of the normal combo is now faster. Can loop the full combo now with no worries about kd.

- Concentrated/ Focus strike: Still a bad skill, but its utility is way better now, 80% dmg red is a big number. Still left at lv 1 since both dmg sucks and dmg and +0.5 reduce cooldown also suck.

- Rush: Not sure if bug or intentional or I haven't noticed but sometimes the 2nd attack "Chases" due to overshooting distance,or sometimes hits at the same direction... if the 1st attack confirmed hit

- Pulse Cannon: It drags enemies into you, even the massive dmg increase because its magical, I still left out because its still weird but its personal preference. Also...MAGIC SEHA POTENTIAL RISES EVEN MORE.

- Shockwave: Still the same but feels like...the range is nerfed....but its just me.

- Phase Focus: Full change is recommended now, has a small dmg reduction during cast. Still a god skill.

- FM:Meteor Blade: First hit of additional strike (aka the jumping) deals full damage on enemy. This changes a bit to non-liftable enemies to deal optimal dmg. Still a god skill.

- Point blank Strike: If you miss the grab you do the "pulse cannon attack" which does ....1334% Physical...Invincible on cast, can change direction with arrow keys to left or right (Normally its the opposite of the direction you are grabbing). Less worry about the recovery time of that skill but still recommend to grab enemies.

- Sky slash: Additional strike now deals set dmg. Just telling you that

- Flame Pulverization: ...this aint big of a buff...Dmg red on cast,Pulls in if you have the Advance skill cube,Radius increased drastically first shockwave: 180% Phys + 419% Mag-> Phys 1317%. Nvm, its a hella big of a buff. This skill is so gud that I want to dump shockwave for this skill for this but due to long CD I still kept it. This skill can now be considered very highly since its better than Pulse Cannon imo.

- FM:Incinerating Storm Burst Blade: The two end hits of this skill range is increased. The attack does more dmg while the ground burning does less. Still the same.

Overall, I like the changes and I knew Flame Pulverization would be ALOT better with the range increase at least and Pulse Cannon will deal alot more magic dmg (Magic Seha Potential). Shockwave+ Flame Pulverization is now an actual combo. I now loop both zzz or the full combo. Still use Flame Pulverization and the charging of Phase Focus blade for hitstun during bosses. Air combo wise nothing much has changed...except i kept failing to do the air dash zzz as a follow up more frequently... item wise still not going for the full 5/5 plane equips and only going for the module but the new items are pretty good if you like the OA skills which I'm getting.

I'm seeing other players inflict frost status on enemies now. Does anyone know what the source of that is?

It's happened with a Yuri, another Seulbi, and a party with another Seulbi and a Misteltein now, so it can't be an added skill effect.
