So because I had some real life problems, I kind of left the game for almost 2 moths now. So I am curios since I am returning if there are any major changes about the characters. I read all the patch notes that I missed, but I am curios if characters suffered changes? Are they all still balanced/equal to one another or is there now 1 OP char? Are there roles still the same? (ex: J-tank, seha-huge single target damage dealer and juggling king, yuri,seulbi-fast,crowd control, squishy etc.). How are the chars in the present day?
Seha's damage is more about multi target than single target now(or was it a patch preview?) (according to naddic) He can still juggle tho,but so can anyone else.
Yuri got a complete overhaul and is now more of a hybrid damage dealer,unlike seulbi.
Seulbi is squishy and magic damage dealer,mostly AOEs and good at crow control.
J didn't get any change almost,but he is more than just a tank,his buff have shorter cooldown now,so its even more spammable.
Despite having a support finisher for OA,tein is still OP as hell,for a support char,you really don't wanna mess with him :l,he got both good AOEs and damage dealing abilities,and buffs zzzz... but compared to J & seha,he is squishier (but gears means everything)
Not much changed but i can guarantee you that you will still be OP as long as you have a DPS higher or equivalent to 10k :3 in town (i saw a yuri with 11k on both LOL...)
Hmm. Can you explain 2 things? What you mean by seha being multi hit now and Yuri hybrid damage dealer (being hybrid means she's more gear reliant, doesn't do that much damage etc?) Can you explain these things? Or if anybody knows this please explain. Everyone is welcomed to answer this. Or if you have other opinions too.
Seha didn't get his revamp yet, he's still the same until further notice. And they also announced a J revamp is on the way as well.
Yuri's revamp made it to where she actually lives up to her intended role as a hybrid character. (As in, physical + magic damage.) Replacing the MP modules that no one ever used with physical + magic attack modules helped. Her damage went up, but they changed her basic Z loop combo to include gunshots. The new ZZZ<> combo has a lot of knockback and can take some getting used to.
And in case you missed his OA advancement, Misteltein is even more overpowered now. Not only does he now get MP back for each spear he detonates, solving his MP generation problem, with one of his new skills giving him a fifth spear to put down, but he has some godly party buffs now. He has an aura that buffs crit rate + damage, and his OA ultimate creates a shield that gives everyone inside iframes and a damage buff.
Hmm. I think I understand now. So there weren't that many big changes. Hope I will find the best char to resume playing now.
Just one more thing. Are all characters gear reliant equally or are some chars more reliant than others? If so I would like to know who is better/cheaper to gear (from my opinion since yuri is hybrid now she may be more gear reliant than before and more expensive/time consuming to gear, but if I am wrong please feel free to corect me). So which of them is less gear reliant/easier to gear?

I would say Seha is the less gear reliant one because of the very reasons he's overpowered: Phase Focus Blade's massive buff ensuring he'll always have a decent amount of Crit Chance, Damage, and Attack Speed. (And now when Master Rank, fully charging it fills 20% of your Phase Power gauge. So he gets more Phase Power uptime too.) And his True Damage attacks ignoring enemy defenses. He doesn't need to be that geared to deal significant damage, and when geared he absolutely destroys.
My Seha isn't that geared, but he shoots up to 30% Physical Crit Chance and 90% Physical Crit Damage when PFB is active.
