Mystio's Guide to Seulbi

Seulbi is a playable character in Closers Online - Dimension Conflict and is branded as the Caster of the group and the leader of the Black Lambs.

Seulbi plays the Mage Archtype for the game and wields dual knives. Her Phase Power allows her to manipulate objects and move them around at will, which she uses to wield her knives and drop objects.

Seulbi has a special system that allows her to gather junk Scraps during comboing monsters. This junk gives Seulbi a slight increase in defense while she gathers them, and she can unleash them into a monster to deal magical damage and launch the monster into the air. The more Scraps gathered, the more damage. Scraps can be launched via the final Z in zzzz, or using either blade of Discipline or Flame Bomb's advanced/expert extensions.

Seulbi is extremely magical dependent and has little physical damage outside of z looping for mana, or select skills such as Gravitational Force. Seulbi is also more fragile then most characters and has a lower HP maximum.

Skills

Skills obtained as a Trainee

Blade of Discipline
[Image: Seulbi1-1.png]

Seulbi launches knives into the nearest enemy in front of her using slight tracking.
  • The Advanced/Expert version of this skill will launch all acquired Scraps after the skill is finished for extra damage and launch.
  • The Expert/Master version of this skill allows the skill to be used during Midair combos.
Blade of Discipline is a low damage and low MP cost skill. The skill's only real use is to unleash scraps into the nearest enemy at a lower cost and easier time aiming then Flame Storm. However, due to the low damage in comparison to Flame Storm, it's recommended to simply use Flame Storm and not waste your time with Blade of Discipline entirely.

Level 1-
This skill costs 13 MP to use and has a 5.6 second cooldown.
The first 3 knives deal 35% magical damage, the next 2 deal 52% magical damage, and the final hit deals 108% magical damage.

Using this skill constantly deals 3395.07% magical damage and costs 139 MP to use 10.71 times per minute.

Level 3-
This skill costs 22 MP to use and has a 5.6 second cooldown.
The first 3 knives deal 39% magical damage, the next 2 deal 57% magical damage, and the final hit deals 120% magical damage. You also get consecutive magical damage hits for each Junk collected that continues to launch the enemy.

Using this skill constantly deals 3759.21% magical damage and costs 236 MP to use 10.71 times per minute.

Level 9-
This skill costs 49 MP to use and has a 5.6 second cooldown.
The first 3 knives deal 51% magical damage, the next 2 deal 76% magical damage, and the final hit deals 156% magical damage. You also get consecutive magical damage hits for each Junk collected that continues to launch the enemy.

Using this skill constantly deals 4937.31% magical damage  and costs 541 MP to use 10.71 times per minute.

Party Use:
This skill is best used when soloing monsters rather then against a monster someone else is comboing unless only the Novice version was used. This is due to the high launch and uncontrollable junk followup.

Following:
You can follow up this skill with a catchable skill (Cluster Ball or Electronic Storm [midair] are examples of easy to catch skills), ^z, or follow up with an ariel combo.

Recommendation
3 if taking. 0 if not, it's a waste of a slot and not needed.

Fire Bomb
[Image: Seulbi1-2.png]

Seulbi launches a bomb forward in front of her that explodes into flames. The flames knock down the monster they struck.
  • The Advanced/Master version of this skill launches the enemy and sends out all acquired scraps for extra damage.
  • The Expert/Master version of this  skill launches the skill much farther away.
Fire Bomb has decent damage but has no honing, the range increases with Expert or Master versions of the skill. The skill also deals damage to an area of effect, damaging multiple enemies at once.
This skill is the recommended alternative to launching scraps over Blade of Discipline, however if you have trouble aiming and don't care about the extra damage / splash, you may wish to drop this.

Level 1:
This skill costs 29 MP to use and has a cooldown of 11.80 seconds and deals 95% physical damage followed by 99% magical damage every 0.01 seconds for 0.05 seconds.

Using this skill constantly deals 482.60% physical damage alongside 2514.60% magical damage and costs 147 MP to use 5.08 times per minute.

Level 3:
This skill costs 39 MP to use and has a cooldown of 11.80 seconds and deals 95% physical damage followed by 109% magical damage every 0.01 seconds for 0.05 seconds.

Using this skill constantly deals 482.60% physical damage alongside 2768.60% magical damage and costs 198 MP to use 5.08 times per minute.

Level 9:
This skill costs 71 MP to use and has a cooldown of 11.80 seconds and deals 95% physical damage followed by 139% magical damage every 0.01 seconds for 0.05 seconds.

Using this skill constantly deals 482.60% physical damage alongside 3530.60% magical damage and costs 361 MP to use 5.08 times per minute.

Party Use:
This skill is best used on a pack of stray mobs that are not being attacked by anyone else that's a distance away. You can then turn your attention to other mobs while you wait for the mobs you blasted to get back up.

Following:
You can follow up by >>Xzzz directly after the launch to recatch or using a range skill such as Expert/Master Electronic Storm.

Recommendation
9 if taking.

Charged Cluster
[Image: Seulbi1-3.png]

Seulbi creates an electric cluster in the shape of a ball that electrocutes monsters.
  • Using the Charged Cluster on the ground (Novice/Advanced) stays still and is easier to get every hit in with slow moving or large mobs. The Charged Cluster will also slightly suck in mobs as it moves, making them stick together and stationary. This helps gather enemies for you and your party.
  • In comparison to using Charged Cluster Advanced and Expert, Advanced deals less damage and deals a larger AoE and is easier to land all hits in.
  • Using the Mastered Charged Cluster rains a lightning bolt from the cluster to the ground. When used low enough to the ground to also damage the mobs, the combination deals more damage but has a much smaller AoE then Advanced. The cluster moves at a fasterate then grounded cluster, so it's more difficult to get all hits in but can hit more mobs that are spread apart.
Charged Cluster is a cheap skill that can deal a ton of damage depending on the situation. Cluster is a great skill to add in combos that are up close and personal with bosses and mobs, and to fire away in a field with many mobs to land multiple hits in midair.

Level 1:
This skill costs 22 MP to use and has a cooldown of 8.40 seconds and deals 67% magical damage 7 times for 0.4 seconds.

Using this skill constantly deals 453.15% physical damage alongside 2361.15% magical damage and costs 134 MP to use 7.14 times per minute.

Level 3:
This skill costs 39 MP to use and has a cooldown of 8.4 seconds and deals 95% physical damage followed by 109% magical damage every 0.01 seconds for 0.05 seconds.

Using this skill constantly deals 453.15% physical damage alongside 2599.96% magical damage and costs 186 MP to use 4.77 times per minute.

Level 9:
This skill costs 70 MP to use and has a cooldown of 12.57 seconds and deals 95% physical damage followed by 139% magical damage every 0.01 seconds for 0.05 seconds.

Using this skill constantly deals 453.15% physical damage alongside 3315.15% magical damage and costs 334 MP to use 4.77 times per minute.

Party Use:
This skill has the same uses partying then soloing. It is a support skill for extra damage.

Following:
You can combo mobs during cluster, especially if they are gathered with Novice/Advanced.

Recommendation
9 if taking.

Reversion
[Image: Seulbi1-4.png]

Seulbi summons 3 scraps if Seulbi does not have any, can also be used to combine all current scraps into a larger scrap if Seulbi has any which allows her to gather even more scraps.

Reversion is best used when you've gathered a large quantity of scraps, unleashing scraps also launches the mob higher with a Reversion scrap.
  • Reversion does not have Skill Blocks.
Reversion is a great skill at hardly any cost that can help Seulbi deal more damage with her Scrap System.

Recommendation
Spare point dump.
Essential skill to have, recommended to max or get as high as needed when everything else is comforting.

Finishing Move 1: Bus Bombing
[Image: Seulbi1-5.png]

Seulbi summons a nearby bus and drops it in front of her. Seulbi floats in midair in front of the bus as she drops it.
  • The Advanced/Expert version of this skill will push the bus forward after dropping it, dealing more overall damage and pushing mobs together.
The Expert/Master version of this skill drops the bus from further away for easy use behind shelter.
Bus Bombing is both an amazing field clearer and an amazing Bossing move.
For bossing, Bus Bombing can break the super armor of a boss as long as their Armor Level is 2 or below.
With the added push and huge AoE, Bus Bombing is an essential skill for dealing massive damage in rare occasions.

Bus Bombing leaves Seulbi immobile and prone to damage during use unless she uses Force Cancel.

Level 1-
?????

Level 3-
?????

Level 9-
?????

Party Use:
This skill pushes mobs away with Advanced/Extra skill note. Due to this, this skill is best used right at the start of a room or only during a boss if nobody else is currently using a Finishing Move. This is to prevent wasting the MP of other players.

Following:
There is no need to follow up.

Recommendation
As Bus Bombing is a costy skill and is only used rarely, it is best to max Bus Bombing for best effects.

Skills obtained as an Intern

Gravitational Field
[Image: Seulbi2-1.png]

Seulbi uses gravity to lift up mobs and slam them back down into the ground within a circular distance from herself.
  • The Advanced/Expert version of this skill will drop mobs an additional time.
  • The Expert/Master version of this skill does ???? (NEED VERIFICATION OR TESTING LATER), I believe it allows a quicker use without startup time and maybe a bigger range?
Gravitational Field will always knock down all the mobs it effects, however, the combination of both physical and magical damage is extremely high. Due to this, this skill is optimal to use on enemies to deal massive damage or finish them off.

Level 1-
?????

Level 3-
?????

Level 9-
?????

Party Use:
Due to this skill knocking down, this skill is not best to be used on enemies others are busy comboing. This skill is best to be used on mobs and then quickly leave (>>^zzz) to other mobs while they get back up afterwards, or to finish off a large group of mobs that are low on health.
This skill might not be the best thing to use on a boss unless they are in super armor status.

Following:
It is possible to keep the monster from being knocked down if you used a catching skill such as Charged Cluster first, you can then proceed to combo like normal.

Recommendation
Max if you do get it to ensure high damage.

Psychokinetic Space
[Image: Seulbi2-2.png]

Seulbi buffs herself with a shield that also lightly attacks surrounding mobs.
  • The Novice/Expert version of this skill will increase the range of the skill to hit mobs from further away.
  • The Advanced/Master version of this skill gives Seulbi a new option for a shield. Using the skill in midair will allow Seulbi to increase her Magical Defense rather then Physical Defense.
Psychokinetic Space will help Seulbi survive more hits while slightly doing little damage to mobs. This skill is best used up close and personal.
The defense buff lasts slightly after the attack wears off.

Level 1:
?????

Level 3:
?????

Level 9:
?????

Party Use:
Psychokinetic Space has the same uses in parties then it does while soloing.

Following:
Psychokinetic Space does not need to have a follow up.

Recommendation
6 if used for bossing, 9 if used otherwise for basic survival.

Electronic Storm
[Image: Seulbi2-3.png]

Seulbi makes it rain electricity in a set path to deal damage to multiple mobs at once.
  • The Novice/Advanced version of this skill sends the electricity directly in front of Seulbi and then branches off in a < pattern.
  • The Advanced/Expert version of this skill will send out 2 additional electronic bolts to the 2 nearest enemies for additional damage.
  • The Expert/Master version of this skill gives the player a new layout for the skill AoE. The skill will send out electricity to both left and right sides of Seulbi in a single line.
Electronic Storm is a cheap skill that's great for damaging multiple enemies at once depending on the layout they are in.

Level 1-
??????

Level 3-
?????

Level 9-
?????

Party Use:
Electronic Storm has the same uses in parties then it does while soloing.

Following:
Electronic Storm does not need a followup.

Recommendation
9 if taking.

Finishing Move 2: Rail Cannon
[Image: Seulbi2-4.png]

Seulbi creates a portal in front of her that shoots out projectiles at incredible speeds using her phase power.
Credit to sayi50, read up more about Railgun here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railgun
  • The Advanced/Master version of this skill will allow Seulbi to push out even more purple plasma out of the purple, although it has a less wide range then the rest of the skill.
  • The Expert/Master version of this skill will shoot the skill diagonally at a monster. This will decrease the range greatly, but will ensure all hits land on a boss thus dealing more damage.
Rail Cannon is Seulbi's strongest move and can break a boss's super armor if his Armor Level is 3 or below. Seulbi is immobile during the entire duration unless she uses Forced Cancel.
This move is also an amazing field clearer that will leave everything dead in it's tracks if the Novice/Advanced version is used.

Level 1-
?????

Level 3-
?????

Level 9-
?????

Party Use:
Rail Cannon is best used to clear an entire room or for bossing. The skill hardly pushes and deals amazing damage, however if Expert/Master version of the skill is used, it's best to be used when you're sure nobody will push the boss out.

Following:
There is no need to follow up.

Recommendation
Max to ensure maximum damage as the skill already has a long cooldown and high MP cost it should not be used too often.

Equipment

Seulbi is extremely easy to equip due to her priorities.

Magic Attack Weapon Modules boost Seulbi's Magical Attack. This also increases the MP Return from using any skills that use Magical Damage to deal.

Since majority of everything Seulbi is magical damage, it's best to stack as much magic attack as possible.

Recommendation
Stack all 3 Weapon Modules with Magic Attack.

Physical Attack Weapon Modules boost Seulbi's Physical Attack. This will only really effect ZZZ looping and slight damage boost to Gravitation Force and Flame Bomb. This will increase the amount of MP she can gain with looping.

Since majority of everything Seulbi is magical damage, stacking Physical Damage is insignificant.

Recommendation
Never use Physical Attack Weapon Modules on Seulbi.

Maximum MP Modules increase your maximum MP by a set amount. Enhancing these do not increase the MP Max it presents you, but rather a tiny insignificant boost to magical attack.

Seulbi loves MP, however the MP gain from these modules are hardly noticed and insignificant. Seulbi gains more benefit from MP gain and damage from Magical Attacks.

Recommendation
You do not require Maximum MP Modules on Seulbi.

Maximum HP Modules raise Seulbi's Maximum HP. Seulbi by default has low HP and defenses, and should not be getting hit often. The raise in HP these modules provide is insignificant to Seulbi since they're so small.

Great guide, this was a good read. Love how you are giving the numbers on how much damage you can dish with a skill in a minute. Good stuff, good stuff.

As for Rail Cannon "plasma", here is a bit of info. Rail Guns fire projectiles at really fast speeds. This speed up tends to be done by electromagnetically. Therefore by looking at the name "Rail something", you can deduce that what she is shooting is not plasma but super fast projectiles. She shoots them at super fast speeds with her phase power to the point that she practically becomes a walking "Rail Cannon".

You can learn more from here:

Thanks for the guide. Smile

I rarely use Gravitational Field and Electronic Storm because I want to save mana, especially in parties. Tongue

Btw, my Blade of Discipline is still on Lv9. I use it mainly to dodge the lightning on 4-7 VH.

A little too early for something like this, don't you think...? :/

Well, whatever. If people are benefiting from this, that's great. Smile
May I give a few equipment recommendations?
REGULATORS
(Magic ATK Modules)

TUBES
(MP increase Modules)

I also have weapon recommendations, but unfortunately, I'm not far enough in the game to know which one is the best for Seulbi in each category:
Also, Bus only has Armor Crash level of 1 at early levels. (idk who the hell would leave it at a low level, but it's info worth keeping)
You should also write some basic information about Phase Power Release (awakening) in there, some people might not see the point of leveling PPR yet. Speaking of which, iirc PPR also increases Armor Crash levels of ultimates by 1.

I think you should include basic information about her bits system:
Without Reversion (lv0), bits will not launch and will deal 40% magic damage each.
With Reversion: bits will launch, have new % based on Reversion, and by combining bits to:
  • ORANGE (Slow Bits), the bit will reduce foe movement speed. (Combine exactly 3)
  • PURPLE (Production Bits), the bit will reduce magic resistance. (Combine 4~6)
  • RED (Crash Bits), the bit will have armor crash level of 1. (Combine 7 or more)
(Numbers thanks to a good friend of mine)

Also, canon name for Skill Block is Skill Cube
Canon name for Scrap is Bits

Thanks! All this information is great, I'll add it to the guide once I'm done cleaning and give you credit.

And yeah it is early haha, and I definitely know there's still so much to learn about her. But I figured it would be good for new players to have some guide with the compiled information from already discovered players, it would get rid of a lot of confusion and give new players an easier time.

According to Ragnite/Ruecian, there was a recent equipment adjustment, so I would just ignore my magic modules recommendations for now.

MP modules should still be fine if they didn't adjust the effect.
