Thanks a lot for the information! Your work is appreciated.

(I couldn't find an index of rules anywhere, but is it necro if it's a guide post?)

Well, no, but you kinda posted in a thread that is no longer relevant as far as KR is concerned, and even for JP, it's outdated as OA skills are missing and Discipline Blade is a genuinly good skill.

So uh yeah .x.

Oh, alright. Sorry for the trouble.
I'm kind of lost on what to do since I just started, but I guess I'll use the wiki and experiment a bit (we have a 15day reset from event after all).

Is the guideline of leveling most skills - except for finishing moves and Gravitational Field - until lv6~10 for Advanced/Expert effects still true, though?

I assume you're talking about KR as you mentioned the 15D Free Skill Reset.

-Level everything to at least level 10. The only exceptions are Psychic Explosion, the new skill below Discipline Blade, and Space Compression which you should only get level 6. The damage isn't great and the master effect isn't worth it, but they're still a vital skill nonetheless as Psychic functions as a grab and Compression gathers. Anything else you want at master.

-Always cap your Finishing Moves. They're still your best, most damaging skills.

-After you have everything at the level for unlocks, get level 10 reversion for more bit generation, and then start dumping points into Phase Power Release and passives.

-When you have all relevant passives maxed, start working on capping the most damaging skills one at a time. OA skills only need 1 extra level to be capped at the current level cap, so start with Railgun and Wormhole. Skip Space Compression, leave it at 6. The order should be something like Gravitational Field -> Electronic Storm -> Charged Cluster -> Discipline Blade

Alright, thanks a lot (again) for the information!

Is lv10 Reversion worth it currently? I heard the revamp changed it so that it's +1 bit per 2 levels, so wouldn't the best possible effect be obtained at lv9 already?

Since we don't have Flame Storm anymore, is Discipline Blade my best way of dispatching bits? I have it at lv9 currently, and can't get it to dispatch bits no matter whether I use it on the ground or air (air usage does combine bits without dispatching, but ground does nothing other than damage). I assume Master will dispatch then?

Ah right, level 9 Reversion is indeed enough.
Also, you might want to get Psychic Explosion level 10 after all, but only to place a force cancel-type Option Cube in it, since it helps a lot for comboing.

As for Discipline Blade, it got modified a bit. It wont fire bits on the advanced extension alone, you need to manually press it a third time after that to fire your bits.
It will create combined bits on its own from the amount of bits you have. 3 bits gives you Slow, 4 gives you Deduction and 5 gives you Crash. Note that it can generate multiple types at the same time. It prioritizes higher bit types, and works down to 0 bits (or until all 3 combined bits were created). For example, casting it with 9 bits will generate a Crash bit (-5) and a Deduction bit (-4). Casting it with 15, the max, will generate a Crash bit, a Deduction bit and a Slow bit, and leave you with 3 normal bits remaining.

Do not ignore magnetic field emission (the skill replacing the knife barrier). It generates 2 bits every 2 seconds over a 15 second duration. Helps a whole lot.

How do you get Option Cubes, Master Cubes and the like? I hear about them everywhere, but never saw details on them, and the NPC that was called "the skill note goddess" once (the one that does costume tuning) doesn't seem to help.

Either way, I assume I'll only be able to get the cube later, so for now I'm keeping it at lv6. o/

Master cubes are automatically added to the skill at level 10, like advanced at 3 and expert at 6.
Option cubes are a 4th slot that unlocks at skill level 10, and the cube I mention (Force Cancel) can be bought from the costume NPC (the one you just mentioned) for a few credits.

Thanks again, I feel like I know nothing about this game orz

EDIT: nevermind, found most of the answers for this on wiki.

Mind if I add you on my main? You've been a great help, really o/
