It's alive, but dying.
People are definitely at high level content these days but a game is pretty unhealthy if there aren't a lot of people in every area.

Also, have you noticed how little traffic the HQ has had lately? Foreigners are starting to lose interest themselves.


I'm actually hoping I'm wrong, I don't want this game to die.

I'd thought this game would soon replace Elsword's position in my game priority list, but in the end that don't seem to be happening.
There's just.. this thing about Closers that makes it not anymore interesting when you've gotten to high levels, and everything is about the same.

I'd say lack of content bored me. Not that I've completed the game quest yet, but I can't find any motivation to do it beyond level50.. Like... just stale. ._.

Or... maybe it's just lacking this

Even I find myself wanting to come back to Elsword more than Closers. Naddic seriously has to step up with the content, and soon. Little boys can only get them so far.

I prefer to die than to go back to Elsword. lol

I know exactly what this game lacks:
  • Collectables like titles and such (for collectors)
  • Dungeon rankings and rewards (to encourage competition)
  • OP equipments only acquirable through intense grinding in special dungeons, because I like them a lot, but NOBODY plays them
  • Increased EXP/drop/better rewards/SOMETHING TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO PLAY IN PARTIES DAMMIT
  • Cute things like pets
  • I don't know what, but something must be done to revive AoS

Also, for Dungeon Ranking, I think they're preparing it. At the bottom of the Closers site there's ranking, but...they sure are taking their sweet time prepping it ~_~

I honestly think naddic released Closers early just because they were about to go bankrupt...no matter how you look at it, this game was released prematurely oh god that sounded so wrong

All NA Closers has to do is remove the Stamina system and it instantly crushes DFO and that one game everyone without a Nexon KR account is itching to jump ship from. AKA the only two kMMOs stupid enough to leave in the Stamina system for a NA release. (While the KR versions for at least one of them has tons of loopholes around the system even.)

kMMO players WANT to grind/farm their asses off. (But not if it takes too long to gain a level while not even a few levels away from the cap. That kills motivation. Fix your EXP tables Naddic.)

.....On that note, what Closers needs are more carrots on sticks for endgame content. Hundreds have proven that they're willing to, say, run a stage 800 times just to get a title with a proc chance for falling swords. Closers might not need anything THAT overpowered, but something along those lines would give people more motivation to play at the level cap.
